Harborcreek township Burning regulations

In the interest of public health and safety Harborcreek Township adopted a ordinance regulating the burning of leaves. No one likes rule especially when they inconvenience you, but burning at any hour, or any day is dangerous and can some times be seen as a nusance ! Typical complaints are homes or whole neighbor hoods filling with smoke, people with respiratory illnesses having trouble breathing ! So folks remember we are all neighbors and one community lets work together !
Days an times to burn per regulations are as follows.

Yard debris (branches) and normal household refuse (paper&cardboard)
Tuesdays through Saturday, 10:00am to 8:00pm

Burning of Leaves
Wednesday and Saturday, Sunrise to Sunset

Days burning is not permitted.
Sundays, Monday and Holidays

Fire must be attended at all times until extinguished.

Commercial and Industrial burning is not permitted except with proper Department of Environmental Protection permits.

Fairfield's Mission

Fairfield Hose Company, VFD was established in August 1945 through the out of pocket expenses of its original members. Since that time, this fire department has grown to a very strong and reliable operation with assets of over $1.2 million dollars. We are one of three fire departments in Harborcreek Township (Brookside Fire Company, Fairfield Hose Company, Harborcreek Fire Dept.).  We take pride in saving our community millions of dollars with our entirely volunteer fire, ambulance, and rescue service.  We are still neighbors helping neighbors. We thank our community for their respect and support."

Hose Company 27's Social Club Mission

"Owning and operating a private social club to provide crucial funding for our volunteer fire department, which benefits our community of Harborcreek Township as a whole. After much discussion, planning, and consideration, members came together to develop a social club that supports the Fairfield Hose Company VFD."
