Volunteer fire departments (VFD) have been the center of most Pennsylvania communities since Benjamin Franklin started the first fire company. We hope to give you a personal look at Fairfield Hose Company and it's members through this website.
Fairfield Hose Company, VFD was established in August 1945 through the out of pocket expenses of its original members. Since that time, this fire department has grown to a very strong and reliable operation with assets of over $1.2 million dollars. We are one of three fire departments in Harborcreek Township (Brookside Fire Company, Fairfield Hose Company, Harborcreek Fire Dept.). We take pride in saving our community millions of dollars with our entirely volunteer fire, ambulance, and rescue service. We are still neighbors helping neighbors. We thank our community for their respect and support.
